Ch. Travella Special Strike (Tom) was a direct descendent of my fathers Champion, Travella Strike. From one of Tom’s first shows, The WFTA, (he gained BPIS), I felt that this dog would one day go to the top. Later that year he won his first CC at LKA only fourteen months old. The following year he was top dog with wins including CC, BOB and Group 1 at Manchester; Crufts had to be missed as I was officiating; CC and BOB at the National Terrier; CC, BOB at SWKA; CC, BOB and BIS at FTC; CC, BOB and Group 1 WKC; CC, BOB and Group 2 at City of Birmingham; CC, BOB and BIS at FTC South Wales, making him the Top Dog 1995 and capped his career in the UK by winning CC, BOB and Group 4 at Crufts in 1996. After his success in the UK he went to my very good friend Walter Jungblut, carrying on where I left off.
